The home offers accommodation, residence and organised housing services, assistance and home care services. Following services are available as part of the home accommodation: housing and food, healthcare, care, personal hygiene, assistance in everyday activities, social work services, psychosocial rehabilitation, occupational activities, organisation of free time, accompaniment and organised transport and counselling services. The home also provides occasional and temporary accommodation services during vacation times and weekend accommodation.

The assisted housing service is still in its infancy in this region, so the home is the originator of this type of service.

Salvia home

Salvia home is a newly constructed building, designed entirely to meet the high standards of energy-efficient construction: LED lighting in all rooms, insulated exterior of the building, heat sink heating and cooling, all areas are designed to be accessible to persons in wheelchairs.

The home covers a total of over 7,000.00 m2.

The home has a total of 75 rooms and 3 apartments in the main building (38 single and 37 double rooms) located on four floors. Each room has a bathroom adapted to persons with disabilities, SOS alarm, LCD TVs, WiFi. The rooms are luxuriously furnished. The surface of a single bed room is 16 m2 and a double bed room is 26 m2. The apartments in the main building range in size from 32 m2 to 53 m2.

Over 90 % of the rooms are oriented towards the sea, and all rooms have their own balcony. The home has two infirmaries for nurses located on the floors.

Each floor has common rooms for socialising. The ground floor holds rooms for physical therapy and a fitness centre, a large restaurant and café, spa center and hair salon.

Within the home, there are residential units with apartments intended for assisted living.

A novelty in the market is the possibility of assisted living in apartments from 45 to 70 m2 in size (two and three-bedroom apartments). The residents can use all services of the home: food, cleaning, healthcare, medical care, physical therapy… they can determine the frequency and amount of services provided by themselves in cooperation with the home’s expert team.

The home is open all year round.

Accommodation capacity

The home has a total of 78 accommodation units, which are divided into 4 categories:

  • 32 single-bedrooms,
  • 6 single-bed studio apartments,
  • 37 double rooms that can accommodate a total of 74  people.
  • 3 apartments, 2 double and 1 single, which can accommodate a total of 5 people.

The total capacity of the main building is 117 persons.

The home has available 4 two-room apartments in a separate apartment block A for a total of 8 people.

An underground garage is also available to our residents.

 

Rehabilitation

Within the home there are rehabilitation rooms that consist of kinesiotherapy room, electrotherapy room, massage room, spa center, fitness room and work therapy room. Rehabilitation is carried out by licensed professionals throughout the year.

Restaurants and bars

The Salvia home bases its gastronomic offer traditional Croatian specialties with special emphasis on nutrition values and a healthy and balanced diet.

  • Hotel restaurant capacity: 80 seats
  • Café bar with terrace capacity: 50 seats

The HACCP system was implemented in the kitchen.

We take an individual approach to each resident in choosing the type of diet, and offer special diets in accordance with the resident’s health condition.

 

Laundry service

The home has a professional laundry service whose capacities we plan to market for the needs of nearby apartments and small hotels.
